OCAL WALLY LAUNCHES HIS WINE TOUR COMPANY
Over the years I’ve been asked to offer a complete Wine Tour option for my guide. I resisted. I procrastinated. That’s because 10 years ago when I started writing this guide most people just drove their own cars when wine tasting. But times change and now drinking and driving isn’t an option, at least not a very good one. That left sending my readers to Uber where you spent more time waiting than wine tasting or shuttle tours filled with (sometimes drunk) people you don’t know. You could hire a driver but that still left you scratching your head trying to figure out where to go. So hello 2020 and welcome to a simpler way to plan your trip to Napa or Sonoma.
INTRODUCING NICK + WALLY’S WINE TOURS
You know me – I spend my days answering emails from my readers asking what wineries to go to. I’ve teamed with professional driving company Trinity SF Bay Tours to offer customized Napa and Sonoma Wine Tours that stay focused on giving you the best Napa or Sonoma experience. Whether you’re coming here as a couple or planning corporate event, low budget or extravagant, we have it covered. Bachelorette party? Oh yeah, we can help!
Here’s how it works – you pick from one of these options for groups up to 14:
OPTION 1: U PICK ‘EM
If you know what wineries you want to go to and don’t mind making your own reservations then use this option and Nick will provide you transportation in one of his vehicles, up to 14 people. Suggested wineries: Domaine Chandon, Castello di Amorosa, V Sattui, Cakebread.
OPTION 2: NICK’S PICKS
If you just don’t want to hassle figuring out where to go then let Nick pick the wineries and make the reservations for you. You give us a budget, we pick the wineries and make the reservations. You pay one invoice that includes driver, winery tasting fees, and lunch. It really doesn’t get much easier than this!
OPTION 3: WALLY’S WINE PASS DEALS
For the budget minded, go with the two for one wine pass offers. urchase 1 Priority Wine Pass for every 2 people and I’ll send you a stop by stop agenda for wineries that accept the wine pass. You’ll visit wineries like Sterling (and the tram ride), Beringer, Louis Martini, BV Wines, all two for one so you save $25 or more at every stop. Choose this option if you want the least expensive way to do a group event – limited to 10 people. I’ll send you the details and a breakdown of the winery stops and savings before you commit. And there is never any obligation or expectations if you ask for free advice.
COMING WITH A LARGER GROUP? No worries, I have other driving companies who I work with to customize large group events of over 14. And yes, I can refer you to wineries who will take large groups and the rates are cheaper than if you called yourself. Want more info? Just email me.
KEEPING WITHIN YOUR BUDGET IS OUR GOAL
We know wine tasting can be really expensive so we do our best to keep our transportation prices as low as we can go and stick to wineries that are within your budget. Not on a tight budget? Well we know the very cool “over the top” experiences as well and can help you get discounts if available. In the end we try to keep everything super simple and give you the most bang for your buck, no matter what your budget is.
To get our rates you simply email me and Nick and I will get right back to you – pronto!
